Bright Idea!

It was one of those days; the sun shining through the clouds to give warmth from the winter. Yes, a bright day. One of the days that inspires one to write a poem or generate some earth shattering ideas, to file some patents (for geeks).

Typically, ideas strike when i am the bathroom while  s(h)itting, bathing, shaving amongst other activities. During shaving off a weeklong-old beard, i was struck with an idea. Obviously it wasn’t any of the earth shattering ideas that people think of. It was an Idea to grow a mustache.

Maybe this can be my “idea” for 2010 !.  As Mr Bachchan says “An idea can change your life!”. And my missus is a fan of the entire Bachchan clan. So it will work. What an idea sirji! Even the missus will approve !

Normally, when i walk out after a shave, my wife admires my transformation from a bearded (animal!) to a chocolate boy hero and comes running into my arms! Yes and i don’t have to apply any fancy macho aftershave for that! But my wife advises i use a Deodorant from time to time. Oh, i digress.

Expecting a similar reaction, i proudly walked out towards my wife. She gave a quizzical look. She thought, usually this mug looks better after a shave, why is he looking worse? Then “the idea” struck her!

I smiled even grinned proudly. My wife gave the look that would give even the most constipated person a run for their money. I said “What do you think of this Idea? An Idea can change one’s life!” . My wife cunningly replied, ” You look like a Fattu. and This Idea will change your wife !”.  I was sent back in. Now i sit pretty with a clean shaven mug.

NOTE: Fattu literally can translate to a jackass, dumbass etc.
Now i tried to validate this idea with my friends; hoping for a different opinion. My friends were kind enough to not only give their opinion about my future looks with the mustache but with my current looks as well.

Without the mustache, i apparently resemble Chatur from 3 IdiotsAnd with my Mustache i would resemble Borat

Also all there are obviously similarities in the both the images (Chatur and Borat). They are purely coincidental !
